                             Catherine Phiri  Image credit: zambianey.com Catherine debuted on 25 July 2011 when she defeated Zambian boxer Esther Chalwe at the National Sports Development Centre in Lusaka.  She is currently the only female   Zambian   professional boxer Known around the world that is still boxing. With an empressive history of 16 wins( 10 of them Knockouts) and only 4 loses in the 20 matches she's had so far. Her biggest achievement came in 2016 When she won the   WBC   female   bantamweight   title and held it from 2016 to 2017 becoming the first Zambian boxer to win  the WBC bantamweight title  and o n 17 December 2016, she was honoured by the World Boxing Council for becoming the first African boxer  to win a WBC title. Tilka Paljk

                                    Tilka Paljk   you may not have heard of her but she is a Zambian  swimmer and has being representing Zambia at smimming competitions, common wealth games and the olympics since 2013 she is  the national record holder for the women’s 50m, 100m, and 200m breaststroke. She competed in the  women's 100 metre breaststroke  event at the  2017 World Aquatics Championships and  also competed in three events at the  2018 Commonwealth Games . She was first introduced to the world When she represented Zambia at the 2014 FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup and.
