The hero the living legend

Esther Phiri is a first of her kind in Zambia, lookin at her history It's clear that shes a true fighter down to her core. she was still a teenager when she lost her father and after the death of her father, she made a living selling fruit and vegetables and she became a mother at the age 16, despite these odds she managed to survive and used Boxing was a way for her to escape poverty and support her own child, and those of her older sister, who had died.
Her first fight was in 2005. But she got wide attention when she won the GBU (Global Boxing Union) intercontinental belt for lightweights on June 30, 2007 at the expense of Radostina Valcheva and then retained it by beating pueto rican world champion at the time Belinda Laracuente aka Brown sugar on 1 December 2007. The following year, she won the same belt but in the lower super-featherweight class.
Esther became Women's International Boxing Association (WIBA welterweight after beating Duda Yankovich, on May 29, 2010. Other notable fights won by this boxer are those against Lely Luz Florez, in 2011, and Monalisa Sibanda, in 2012. A short documentary about her life and struggles was released in 2014 by her cousin jessie chisi.
She invests in real estate and a one point featured in a song by magg44 Me i beat (who can argue with that)
